star wars community links

Here you'll find links to sites throughout the Star Wars community.

The Official Website

The official Star Wars website. Come here for all your news wishes on the Prequel Trilogy, books, comics, products and more. Ask a question at the Jedi Council, have your entries ignored at the weekly captions contest! Talk with other fans at the forums!

B^2's Star Wars Stuff

His name makes LucasFilm employees cower in fear. He has been consulted on several works such as Crispin's Han Solo trilogy and Dr. David West Reynolds Incredible Cross-Sections. He's Robert Brown, and his site is home to numerous and at times controversial essays on the Star Wars Universe. You'll not find a bigger Expanded Universe hater, and while I may not agree with him on everything, his arguments are insightful, and his site is one of the two big influences on my building the Starfighter Commentary. Here you'll find a forum for further discussion of technical details.

Word of warning: Don't discuss things on his private forum, and never, NEVER try to argue with him by saying "But the books say..." Don't say I didn't warn you.

Star Wars Technical Commentaries

Perhaps the source of all sites on Star Wars technical analysis, SWTC looks deep into controversies such as the size of the Super Star Destroyers, a catalogue of Imperial walkers and TIE-series fighters, and numerous other essays on planets, science and other phenomenon of the Star Wars Universe. Dr. Curtis Saxton's work is cited alongside Rob's by Dr. Reynolds' ICS, and Saxton himself will be writing the ICS for Episode II.

Echostation

Another community site. Here you'll find reviews, FanFic, news and other articles on the Star Wars Universe.

The Parts of Star Wars

This EXTREMELY cool site is a reference guide to some of the props used in the making of the Star Wars films. Even cooler is that it explains some of the commonly found objects used by LucasFilm to actually BUILD these props and set pieces. Lots of graphics, some blueprints and other miscellaneous useful images. This site was invaluable as a reference for my DL-44 and A280 blaster models shown in the gallery.

Star Wars Gamer Magazine

This site is a companion to Star Wars Gamer, a magazine written to go along with the Star Wars RPG by Wizards of the Coast. News on RPG modules and sourcebooks, pictures, and other information about the RPG can be found here.
